Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

is it ok to participate in water park attractions while pregnant?

Generally, wave pools and regular pools are okay.  Things like the really tall slides may not be a good idea, because in the event of an accident, you could get hurt in a way to make you miscarry.  Floating in a tube is fine. Just remember to sit out the extreme stuff so you don't become a statistic! It's also really important to stay away from jacuzzis, hot tubs and spas.  Having your belly submerged in the intense heat can literally cook your baby, and may cause birth defects, and can definitely cause a miscarriage.
I agree whith what stefanies said.  But I will also add that at water parks they have signs up saying that pregnant women are not allowed on certain things.  Again no jacuzzi's or hot tubs or spas.
