Is it okay to do exercises that target the abs, like crunches?

You can pretty much continue your normal workout routine until it becomes uncomfortable for you. Unfortunately, those muscles are going to be changing a lot anyway, so you might want to focus on different kinds of exercises. I'd talk to your doctor about it, or look for ways to modify the movement.Whatever you do, don't strain yourself! Maybe try yoga?
I wouldn't do crumches or work on my abs right now.  First off that part of your belly is going to expand anyways and you would be working for nothing.  Second the crunches could hurt the baby.  But yes keep up all the other exercises.  As always ask your doctor about this.
