Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

I think it has to do with the nerves that you are pinching when you are laying on your side. I have asked my dr because whichever side I will lay on my hand and part of my arm will end up numb when I wake up which is close to what you are saying I beleive.. and she said not to worry about it it was ok.. hope this helps and if you are still nervous about it ask your dr thats what they are there for =)
thanks =)
It's carpal tunnel and I've found that those arm braces made especially for that work GREAT. I've got one for my right hand and I never have this problem anymore. I wish I had gotten one for my left as well, but at 37 weeks I can't see going out and spending ANOTHER $20 on the left one.
