Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

34 weeks and having lots of contractions?

1 answers
I am 34 weeks and I am having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions. Yesterday I had about 20 in the morning, to about lunch time, it is very uncomfortable, not painful, but I am wondering if that along with the nesting like crazy me means that the baby will be here sooner than my due date of April 15th?

Braxton-Hicks contractions and nesting are not good indications that labor is approaching. Some women have BH contractions all throughout pregnancy, others only start getting them a couple off weeks before their baby is born. In a few more weeks your doctor will start checking you to see if your cervix beginning to dilate. Chances are good that if you're healthy and have not had problems during this pregnancy, your baby will be born close to your due date.
