Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

5m old eating enough?!?!

How many ounces should my 5month old be eating? The doc said she can have baby food twice a day now but shes eating less formula. So how often should i feed her or does she even need the same amount now that shes eating baby food? Im a new mother so any input is really helpful. Thank u.

I don't give formula, but I just read in the book "Starting Solids" by Annabel Karmel, that formula-fed babies should continue to take at least 28 ounces of formula a day when starting on solid food, but will gradually take less as solids replace the calories and nutrients. Hope that helps some!
