Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Advice from parents on relationship issue?

0 answers
A few months ago, my mother blindly broke my girlfriend of nearly a year up because we went to her house when her parents were not home, but only a few times. We do not have any form of sexual relations, and I need help on how to convince them of this and how to tell them we can be mature and responsible and healthy. The only other problem aspect is I am 16 and she is 18, but this isn't really noticeable. It's not like she allows me to do bad things, we are both very respectable people. I know she is my mother, but I wasn't happy with the choice she made because we could've turned it around. I'm wondering if any mothers could give me some advice on how to come out to them and help them understand it would not be a negative relationship.. Any answers?
