Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Arguing with sis-in-law

0 answers
My sister in law and I got into a huge fight recently. She and her husband were questioning my parenting behind my back to another family member who let me know the situation. She "apologized" simply because my mother in law asked her to (all this happened on a family vacation.) She has no room to critize any method of parenting because my in laws have helped raise their daughter. We had a family dinner recently and neither she nor her husband spoke to me. Her birthday is tomorrow and the family wants to surprise her with dinner. Should I go to dinner even though we're only being invited out of obligation? (Only the sis in laws and spouses will be present, not mother and father in law) it's so awkward and I'm not over the argument yet.
