Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Could this be early signs of labor?

I am 36 weeks and having minor cramping in my lower back and all the muscles in my legs are very achy, is this just part of the third trimester or is it possible that I could have early signs of labor?

I have abdominal cramps now and then, sometimes even shooting/stabbing pains. My legs and feet and lower back are generally sore if I've been particularly active. So to me, these don't sounds like signs of preterm labor. But, it never hurts to get a doctor's opinion, especially if it's your first baby. Call your doctor's office, even use the after hours number, just to be sure.
I had cramps when I was around 30 weeks pregnant,I asked my doctor everything at my doctors appointment when I was pregnant she didn't sound worried so I think its normal if its really painful go to the doctor.
