Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Could I be pregnant????

So I had a c section on Feb 28th, 2011 I delivered my first child but we sadly lost her at birth. Me and my guy started having sex again March 17th (we are both going through the empty arms stage) and well this monday will be 7 weeks and I was told having a c section and NOT breastfeeding I should have already had my period (4 to 6 weeks) I had a little blood yesterday and some small cramps like I did with my last pregnancy. I took a test last week and it was negative. I have had bad headaches these past 2 weeks and sweet smelling pee. Could I be pregnant again? I am also a type 1 diabetic and it took us a year and a half to conceive our last child. Am I more fertile now that I had a baby?

I don't know anything about the questions you asked but I just wanted to say I too lost a baby, and know the empty arms feeling also. It is probably the hardest thing someone can go through and I wanted to send you guys my condolences. I lost my baby at 5 months pregnant, and it was the worst thing that has ever happened to me. But now I have a beautiful 5 month old baby girl and I hope that you too have a wonderful little baby. Good luck to you guys.
I believe it is possible. My doctor told me that your are more fertile than ever until you have your first period after giving birth. I would take another test or call your doctor to have a blood test done. Good luck!
