Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Emigrating with teenagers

We are planning to move to America with my job for two years. I have a 13 and 11 year old. My 13 year old whilst not delighted has accepted the move and is open to discussing it and learning more about what it's going to be like. My 11 year old son is refusing to accept its happening, will not discuss it without getting cross, won't open up about what it is that's worrying him and is convinced it's going to go away as a problem. I've tried all the approaches I can think of but would really appreciate any ideas from anyone who has been through something similar. Thank you
