Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Insommnia is not necessarily a sign that you're pregnant - and certainly it's not a reliable sign.  The best way to tell if you're pregnant is to take an OTC test, which you can purchase in any drug or grocery store.  If you don't believe the test, you can call your doctor and request a blood test. As far as I know, it's not possible to get pregnant while you're on your period.  The best time to get pregnant is when you're ovulating, which occurs approximately 14 days before your period actually starts.  The whole point of a period is that your body is shedding the materials your uterus would have used had you become pregnant 14 days earlier.
