Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

yes. mine started cereal at 5 months and quickly moved to purees. now she's 7months and I'm introducing her to soft, lightly mashed table foods like potatoes, peas, and boiled broccoli. if you have any questions you can talk to your pediatrician. there are some reasons why babies shouldn't eat certain foods. my daughter has eczema and can't eat any kind of berry or she'll break out. you need to make sure your baby doesn't eat anything he shouldn't.
Let her play with the bowl. She'll undoubtedly get some on her fingers, and you know babies... right in her mouth! Maybe she'll realize it's not so bad. Try sweet potatoes or another sweet vegetable. It's a start if nothing else!
