Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

How could I make my room safe for my 9 month old niece?

My room is two parts. 1st part is bunkbeds and my office area, and the 2nd part is my bedroom. But when my sister comes to visit its the guestroom and I need to make it more safe for my niece so that she don't hurt herself on anything when she starts to walk.

Ask your sister what she would like in terms babyproofing. Every parent is different and has different needs for baby proofing. Maybe go out and buy some items like outlet covers, drawer locks, and other things, and then let her help you set up the room.
Good answer above. First thing I thought of was the outlet covers.  Those are a must wherever we visit with our kids.
