Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

How to stop my daughter from "sitting" on things

1 answers
My 6 year old daughter is "sitiing" on the arms of chairs and other like items. I believe it is innapropriate and she says it "tickles". I have tried talking to her about her private parts and encouraging her to not do it, but she does anyway. So then I got angry and now she does it when she thinks I am not looking. Help me! I am out of ideas.

So, your daughter has discovered masturbation. Haha!I think the thing you should emphasize to her is that she should do it only when she is alone, and also try to distract her to keep her from doing it. She will grow out of it.
