Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Some food allergies are genetic, but most mild allergies shouldn't affect your baby at all. Things like peanut and egg allergies and lactose intolerance are often genetic and you have to be careful introducing those foods to your child. But other allergies or intolerances aren't a big deal. My mom is allergic to bananas and avocados but I have absolutely no food allergies and neither do my kids.
