yes - stretching and growing liagments. Your body is expanding to hold your baby. Try rolling out of bed instead of still bolt up right. Ease yourself into standing. Do stretches and pregnancy yoga really helps ease the pains of a growing belly (even if you don't show it- your still growing it).
I absolutely know how you feel! I have the most awful pains in my lower stomach and I won't even be doing anything! I can be sitting on the couch and it will just start hurting. My midwife suggested using a belly band or a maternity belt. I haven't got one but I guess it couldn't hurt to try it. I'm only 25 weeks and this has all ready been going on for about the past 5 or 6 weeks. So I can't imagine how much worse it will feel when I'm actually ready to have her!
