Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Is it ok to wake a newborn up for feeding every 3-4 hours?

or should I stick to the rule "never wake a sleeping baby", especially that I am breastfeeding.

How new is your newborn? If they have a couple longer periods of rest during the day (say 4 hours), that's ok, but if they are always sleepy, and never want to wake for a feeding, that would be a cause for concern. If they are having a longe sleep, you can let them sleep, just make sure that they are getting plenty of feedings the rest of the say. If they are always sleepy and needing to be woke for a feeding, check with your doctor.
during day yes, itd say no cause they'll let you know when their hungry. I was always told let them get their sleep!!!
