Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Is it possible to get gestational anger issues?

I know my hormones are raging and all because of being pregnant, but sometimes I feel like I can't help myself and I will have a complete melt down and yell/scream at the top of my lungs, start hitting walls and sometimes even people. I can be in the house alone with just me and my dog and folding laundry and be set off by absolutely nothing. It get's even worse when actual people are here because even the smallest things they say set me off, I am to the point I refuse to go out in public because I fear for what I could say or do to a random by stander who has probably done nothing wrong. Another example, I had a dream the other night that my sister in law had made fun of a handicapped child and when I woke up I called her and yelled at her, she is only 14 years old and I made her cry because of something she said in a dream. Should I talk to my doctor about this or is it normal?

Feeling angry, even to the point that you yell or want to hit things/people is normal. I have definitely felt like the Hulk throughout this pregnancy. However, it sounds like what you are experiencing is going beyond that. I would definitely talk to your doctor to see what you can do to alleviate some of your anger.
