Learning to love my post-baby body.
Ok..so i gained 45lbs with my pregnancy ( I know, whoops.) I'm 5.5 months post-partum. I lost 30 lbs in the first two weeks. I was SO swollen I think a lot of it was water weight. I have since lost another 5lbs. So, I've got 10lbs to go to get back to where I was, but really I could stand to lose a little more. I've been eating super awesome - my boyfriend and I are trying to eat as "fresh" as possible. Freash lean meat, fresh veggies, fresh fruits...as little "processed" foods as possible. I'm feeling great. My problem is having time to exercise. I try to do a quick video at night after Claire is asleep, and I walk on the weekends. I take the stairs at work instead of the elevator. I'm ok with the weight coming off slowly. I think I'm starting to look weird, though, because the rest of me is getting smaller, but my belly is still "hangy". It's a lot better than it was. A girl I work with told me it would never go away. It kind of discouraged me a little when she said that...I know that isn't true, that it CAN go away. Im not in a hurry, I just want to be healthy. Any insight or tips?
