Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

If you've already given them to her, and she hasn't had an allergic reaction, then I don't see the problem - AS LONG as you keep an eye on her as she's eating them, and she's not running around with them in her mouth.  There's no hard-and-fast rule about when you should start kids on solids (or semi-solids), so it's more a matter of when the child is ready, shows interest, and can handle sitting up and eating without choking.  It sounds like your daughter is showing interest, so I don't see any reason why you should deny her the bites.  If you're worried about size, you may be able to break them in half.  (I think it's the Happy Baby ones that tend to be flat and large, so they're pretty easy to break down a little.)
that's fine, as well as jar food, and gerber's lil' crunchies. zwieback crackers are even ok for her.
my daughter was on 3rd stage jar food, and most table food at that age. she ate, and still eats almost anything you put in front of her.
