Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Pressure??

3 answers
I am 22 weeks pregnant and for the last week I have had extreme pressure in the front, down low in between my hip bones and a little above. It does not feel like normal stretching or uterus growth. When I stand up sometimes I need to huntch over until the muscles relax enough to stand up all the way. I see the dr next week, but has anyone ever felt this before? Thank you

i had contractions and pressure starting at 7 months, and when i went into the hospital for contractions, they gave me a shot to stop them, monitored the baby for a bit, and sent me home. i would talk to your doc when you see him/her at the appt. i don't see any reason to rush over there until then. hope this helps. however, if it gets worse, please don't hesitate to call your doc, or the nurse in charge.
i had that too, its probably caused by the baby stretching and putting pressure on uyr body, especially if u were sitting down and she was in a cetain position and then when u goit up she reflexed and stretched? but that could also be caused to other things, so pinkpainsley is right
