I took my daughter off the bottle when she was 6 months old. After about 2 or 3 days, she didn't even care that it was a sippy cup.
i took it away at 10 months. my hubby thought i was crazy and begged me to wait. i ignored him and went on with it anyway. once i threw it in the trash, she never looked back.
