Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

I'm 24 wks, and last night I woke up with tight spasm type pain on my abnominal wall. Then when I woke up this morning I was coughing and it seemed to have brought it on again. Are these BraxHic...? Are things just stretching? Ouch...!

Yes you could be having braxton hicks. I noticed my first one at 20 weeks and at that point it was only a few a day and i actually had to poke my belly to realize it was happening. It's your uterus contracting so it will be tight and firm to the touch. It shouldnt hurt though. And they will pick up in strength and frequency as your pregnancy progresses.
