Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

I am about three weeks pregnant, yet I already feel "swelling" in my lower abdomen. Is this normal?

Absolutely.  Before I found out I was pregnant with my first, I thought my period was just late, late, late, late... until I realized it never came.  My breasts were swollen and sore, I was bloated and hungry... just like I was PMS-ing, so I thought nothing of it.  You'll feel like this for a long time- that bloat doesn't go away!  Every so many weeks, it will feel really uncomfortable, then you'll get used to it, then it will feel completely different all over again.  Now's the time where you'll learn all about that body you were given!
