You have a little person inside of you! Instead of a shrimp that's only taking up a fraction of your breath, blood, and food intake... it's an almost- normal sized baby that's becoming much more physically demanding... I like to think of it as 'living for two'... and this is also where I believe 'eating for two' is the most appropriate. Your body is also trying to rest up for your marathon workout [your due date], since that day and the days following will leave no room for ANY sleep at all!
