Peanut-Butter-Cup-Graham-Cracker Sandwich

Prep time: 4 minutes Cook time: none Serves: 1 sandwich 2 graham crackers
2 Tbs peanut butter
1/2 Tbs mini-chocolate chips
1/2 banana, optional



All steps except cutting the banana (although kids 4 and up are capable of using a plastic knife with supervision).
1. Place 1 graham cracker on a sheet of aluminum foil, and spread it evenly with peanut butter.

2. Sprinkle chips over the peanut butter, pressing them in gently with your fingers or the back of a spoon.

3. Cut banana into 1/4-inch slices and layer over peanut butter, if desired.

4. Top with the second graham cracker; press gently. Wrap in foil, and pack in a plastic container to keep crackers from crumbling. per serving ( 1/2 sandwich): 167 calories, 10 g fat (2.3 g saturated), 160 mg sodium, 0 mg cholesterol. A good source of fiber; regular peanut intake has been linked to decreased risk of heart disease.
