2 Tbs unsalted butter
4 bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise
Pinch of ground nutmeg or cinnamon
3 Tbs maple syrup
Put bananas in pan; top with nutmeg.
2. Remove bananas from oven; top with maple syrup and remaining butter. Roast for another 2 minutes.
3. Raise heat to broil; broil until drippings are golden, about 2 minutes. Serve hot topped with pan juices. per serving ( 1/4 of recipe): 100 calories, 3 g fat (1.9 g saturated), 2 mg sodium, 8 mg cholesterol.
