Soldier Bear Toys Recalled Due to Lead

[BOLD {December 19, 2007}]

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) of Dallas, TX has recalled 11,400 Soldier Bear Toys that contain excessive levels of lead on the surface paint.

The recall involves the Wooden Pull-Along Learning Blocks Wagon (style #6320 and UPC code 834162002158), Time Teacher ( magnetic shapes and clock in a pull cart, style #6231 and UPC code 834162002646), the Wooden Riding Horse (style #6349 and UPC code 834162003698) , and the Vehicle Playset (a blue military vehicle with action figures, style #1007 and UPC code 4895130810072). Style numbers and UPC codes can be found, along with the "Soldier Bear" logo, on the packaging.

The recalled toys were manufactured in Hong Kong and sold at AAFES stores worldwide from Augsut 2006 to October 2007 for $5-$20.
