Worried About Cell Phone Radiation and Your Kids? Reduce Exposure with a Pong Case

Pong case

The jury is still out on how harmful cell phones are to our health. Recent research points to claims that support both sides, but with any kind of question about cell phone radiation, especially when it comes to our kids and their usage of our devices, it’s important to take whatever precautionary steps recommended for limiting exposure.

While there have been many tips offered around this topic, like using speakerphone mode or waiting until your signal is stronger before making a call, a more practical way to reduce cell phone radiation on a longer term basis is to use a mobile phone case by Pong Research.

Pong is the only company that has been certified by the FCC for its cases that claim to cut between 60-95 percent of EMR (electromagnetic radiation) frequencies that you’d otherwise be exposed to. Pong uses a special antenna that is integrated into each case that redirects these frequencies away from your head and back to the cell tower. (Wired Research also verified the results in testing that occurred in 2009.)

Just by look and feel alone, you’d have no idea that these cases do anything other than provide outerwear for your device, but they clearly do so much more. The cases are available for iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android devices and come in a variety of colors.

If you use your mobile device or tablet a great deal, or more importantly, let your kids use them, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Cover it with a Pong and have the knowledge that you’re shielding them from whatever harmful frequencies you can.

Pong cases are available from the company’s website. Pricing ranges from $49 - $99, depending on model.
