Total Tally Tuesday: Checking Account Balances!

Every Tuesday, we’ll report exactly how much our families have in their checking accounts -- and what they’re planning to do with it.

Leah: $23.58

That’ll have to last me for one week. I don't plan on leaving the house for the rest of the week, with exception of church on Christmas Eve. I won’t have a deposit made until 12-29, so I’m sure that we’ll have to use our credit card. I already know that Eric will have to pick up a few last minute items at the commissary on 12-24. We’ll just have to catch up next month.

Lori: $64.25

I’m starting to think into January now. The first automatic withdrawal is on the 7th for $83.19. I’ve already receive a little money as a gift that will cover the difference. I’d prefer to spend the money on something fun for me as it’s intended, but I need to make sure my responsibilities are covered first. I know I’ll be receiving financial aide, but I don’t know when. And of course, my job will be starting as well, although I’m not sure when my first paycheck will arrive. Suddenly it seems like there are a lot of moving pieces. It’s all great stuff, but trying to figure out where and how each piece is going to fit together is a little nerve-racking. By the end of January though, I know my concerns and challenges will be entirely different and that feels really good!

Natasha: $183.66

With this, I’m going to finish up the Christmas shopping for the boys. They’re into Yo Gabba Gabba so I’ll try to find some things for them. My littlest one turns one on Thursday, so I’dlike to buy him a little cake.
