I certainly dedicate a lot of thought and action towards instilling family values in my children. We have a sign on our kitchen wall that actually lists them: The Rempe Family Values...Sharing, Teamwork, Honesty, Honoring Others. I am determined to use every opportunity I have, while my children are in my home, to imprint these, and other, family values in my children. As dedicated as I may be in promoting these values, I don't often feel these same values are being communicated through the media. But...this is changing!
My sole purpose in writing this blog today is to share my excitement about the family friendly films being produced by Walmart and P&G. The world's largest retailer and the world's largest consumer goods manufacturer are listening to the concerns of moms and responding with a line up of family films that promote the very values we're working so hard to encourage in our homes. The next film, The Jensen Project, is going to air this Friday at 8pm (7 Central) on NBC. If you have children between the ages of 8-18 I strongly encourage you to tune in. Not only will it provide great entertainment at no cost, it will also spark great conversations with your kids that promote bonding as a family.
Check out the trailer and tune in this Friday night! Afterall, I'm sure you've bought Crest Toothpaste or Charmin TP (P&G products) at Walmart...maybe these films are their way of saying thanks, we support you too!
