Schools and the 2010 Census

Today over at the Daily Fave we wrote about what to expect for the 2010 census -- the 10-question form should be coming to you in the mail soon. It's important to participate in the census because it helps determine how the government will distribute $400 billion of federal funding to public projects like hospitals, emergency services and, most importantly, schools.

Make sure you count all infants and children in your household on the census form. According to the Census Bureau, children have been undercounted in every census since 1790. Seeing as how census info is used for schools, it's important to make sure the kiddos are included!

Find out more about the census, and how you can get the kids involved, over at the Daily Fave.
