Evenflo is voluntarily recalling 14,000 of its Maestro combination child booster seats, after a test by Consumer Reports found that the seat can crack and fail in a simulated 30 mph frontal collision, the Associated Press reports.
Crash tests found that a crack may form at the front of the seat, which loosens the harness and increases risk of injury. No injuries have been reported.
