Elizabeth Edwards, wife of John Edwards, has been all over the television, discussing her new memoir Resilience. In the book and in interviews, she’s spoken candidly about dealing with her husband’s infidelity and her decision to stick with him in the face of her terminal cancer. Her decision seems especially remarkable given the level of betrayal. First, he insisted it had only happened once, when it was actually ongoing. He cheated while she was seriously ill.
