This is one of the cutest contests on the web (other than our cover contest, of course!)
Every year, Google opens its Art department to kids ages K-12, taking submissions for a fresh take on their iconic logo. Here's last year's winning logo, created by Grace Moon, a middle-school student in California:
I'm always blown away by these kids' talents. This year's theme is "What I Wish for the World." Not a surprise: our children have some deep and beautiful wishes!
Through May 18, you can vote for the national finalists, and the winning logo will appear on the Google home page on May 21st.
