Michelle Obama (a.k.a. FLOTUS, my new fave acronym), spoke at Howard University yesterday, introducing a panel titled, "Home, Work, Community: the Role of African American Women as Change Agents."
In her comments, she talked about the extraordinary task ahead of her -- creating as normal a family life as she can. From her speech, a great quote I think we can all identify with:
"There isn't a day that goes by, particularly after having kids, that I don't wonder or worry about whether I'm doing the right thing? For myself, for my family, for my girls?"
Don't worry, FLOTUS, you're doing the right thing!
