The latest Pew study making the rounds on the news outlets will seem pretty darn obvious to any parent of a teen (or tween): Not only do teenagers text more than they talk, one-third of teens with cell phones text about 100 times per day. Eighty-seven percent of cell phone-wielding teens also sleep with their cell phones (does anyone else find that a little scary? Unplug, people!) And parents of teen girls may want to spring for unlimited texting: girls in the study texted on average 80 times per day, while boys, only 30.
Parents of tweens and teens, are your kids glued to their cell phones?
