We hear a lot of shocking parenting stories (see: mom who drove off with her baby on the top of the car), but here's a shocking story starring a good samartian: a garbage truck driver saved a baby in a runaway stroller.
A Seattle mom was jogging with her baby in the stroller, when she momentarily let go and the stroller careened downhill towards an intersection. Garbage truck driver Jeff Blackburn, who spotted the stroller, stopped his truck to block traffic and leapt out to save the stroller. (Nice save!) Luckily, the baby was smiling when Blackburn reached him.
