Disney+ to the rescue! The streaming service announced that it will be releasing “Frozen 2” three months early to help families who are social distancing read: on lockdown) due to the coronavirus outbreak.
“Frozen 2” only hit theaters last November, so we had a little ways to go before we could expect it on Disney+, but since so many families are stuck at home with offices closed and school shutdowns across the country, having this movie available now is a true treat.
We have been fans of the streaming service since it first launched. At just $6.99 a month, families get access to all the Disney animated classics, Pixar films, Star Wars films and series, Marvel content, and so much more. There are over 7,500 television shows and over 500 movies on the platform, plenty of content to keep your kids busy until they are back to their normal schedule.
Plus, you can stream your Disney+ content on up to four devices at a time, which is a lifesaver when everyone is disagreeing on what to watch. Feel free to cozy up with one kid watching “Frozen 2” in the living room while your teen tackles “Avengers End Game” in his bedroom.
You can sign up for the streaming service by going to disneyplus.com. You can start off with the seven day free trial, but we know most schools are cancelled for the foreseeable future, so you might as well sign up indefinitely. You can also take advantage of the Hulu, ESPN + and Disney + bundle for $12.99 to get access to even more shows and movies.
