Old Navy Just Launched Patterned Face Masks for the Whole Family
Shop Story

Starting today, Old Navy is selling cloth face masks for the entire family in response to the CDC’s recommendation that everyone, over the age of 2, wear masks when outside. We love this brand for its affordable fashion for kids and adults and love it even more now that we can get a 5-pack of masks for just $12.50.

The “surprise packs” come in various designs, including plaid, paisley, stripes and polka dots as well as anchors, bananas, tropical plants, dogs and more of the fun prints we are used to seeing from the retailer. So while you can’t choose the exact mask you’d like, rest assured that you will receive not five stylish options that will be kid- and parent-approved.

The face masks are made with excess fabric from the brand’s lineup of apparel, and kids who are hesitant to wear a mask may be enticed by the surprise aspect of these packs as well as having multiple to choose from each day. The kids masks are recommended for children 4 and up and are specifically made to fit smaller faces snuggly to be safe and effective.

The masks also feature three layers of fabric made with 100 percent cotton poplin. They have elastic ear straps and are reusable and machine-washable. Plus, they are made according to the CDC’s guidelines for non-medical grade masks. In an effort to give back during this challenging time, Old Navy is also donating 50,000 masks to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The face masks are expected to sell out quickly, with shipping dates slated for May 27. Below, take a look at some of the patterns that you may receive when you order a pack.
