How to Make a Baseball Bento Lunch Box

Here’s how to make an easy baseball bento lunch box using a sandwich, cheese and chicken nuggets

Recreate a baseball field by cutting a curve on two sides of a sandwich (use your kid's favorite filling).

Antichoking warning: Remember to remove toothpicks and cut up blueberries, grapes, carrots and other food for children under 4. See our Antichoking guide for more information.

Tuck string beans, broccoli, carrots, peppers or any veggie your kid likes in with the baseball bento.

Top the sandwich "field" with cheese squares and cubes to make home plate and the bases. Add a cheesy baseball bat and ball for extra fun. (Use the extra bread crusts to make rusks).

Serve with blueberries—or slices of any fruit—on the side for dessert.

Spreading ketchup in halved chicken nuggets saves the need for a separate dipping cup.
