Here’s how to make an easy sheep bento lunch box using sandwiches, a ham flower and veggie shapes
To make these soft sandwiches, make a sealed sandwich (here's a step-by-step photo guide on how to). Be sure to cut out a space for the sheep's faces. Cut out small pieces of ham for the sheep's ears. (Save the breadcrusts to make cinnamon-sugar rusks.)
Antichoking warning: Remember to remove toothpicks and cut up blueberries, grapes, carrots and other food for children under 4. See our Antichoking guide for more information.
A small flower cookie cutter can change the shape of a regular carrot coin. Layer in cut string beans or cut up broccoli for a green veggie.
Add a ham flower for a pretty decoration—you can use turkey or egg instead, too. Here's our photo guide on how to make a ham flower.
Use cheese to make snack hearts and the girl sheep's little bow.
For the kiwi slices, cut with a small scallop-edged cutter for an elegant and fun finish.
