We can always count on Disney to be there for us in our time of need, and now is no exception. The company recently launched a line of reusable cloth face masks to support families during the coronavirus pandemic. The parks may be closed, but the spirit of Disney is still strong.
The masks come in themed-packs of four, and you can choose from classic Mickey Mouse or Disney princess prints as well as lovable Pixar packs that include characters from Toy Story and Monsters Inc. There are also Star Wars (yay, Baby Yoda!) and Marvel face mask packs, and all of them include four different, fun prints. We especially love the masks that look like character faces and know our kids will, too.

Disney is committed to serving the communities where we live and work. During these challenging times, we’re using the power of our timeless stories and beloved characters to address our guests’ needs for family-friendly reusable cloth face coverings, also referred to as non-medical cloth face masks. Disney is donating one million cloth face coverings for children and families in underserved and vulnerable communities across the U.S. that will be distributed by MedShare (www.medshare.org). Disney will also donate all profits from the sales in the U.S. of Disney’s cloth face coverings to Medshare, up to $1 million, now through September 30, 2020. // Link in bio
“We realize this is a challenging time for families and wearing any type of mask can be daunting,” Edward Park, senior vice president of Disney store and shopDisney, shared on Good Morning America. “Our hope is that Disney’s cloth face masks featuring some of our most beloved characters will provide comfort to the families, fans, and communities that are so important to us.”
The masks are available for pre-order now on shopDisney. They cost $19.99 for a set of four and will ship in June. Disney followed the FDA’s recommendations for non-surgical, washable face masks and has also included washing directions as well as fit and care instructions on its website. The face mask sets come in three sizes — small, medium, and large — so they’re great for kids and adults. Take a look at the measurements within the product descriptions to find your perfect fit.
In addition to selling the masks, Disney is working with MedShare to donate one million masks to families in need and will be giving a portion of the proceeds, up to $1 million, to MedShare as well.
