The Short of It
Actress and new mom Blake Lively reveals the one thing she wants her daughter to experience during childhood.
Lively says she had an inspired childhood, and she plans to provide the same kind of experience for her little girl.
"My mom liked to infuse my life with a lot of magic. When she read my fortune cookies, the predictions were full of princesses and castles and pirates. When I got old enough to read them, I was shocked to find out how boring they really were," the star explained, according to Marie Claire Australia.
I love Lively's notion about childhood. It's my view kids are only kids once, and they should enjoy dress up, imaginative play, and above all, they should dream big and believe in magic!
When the celebrity mama is not busy creating a magical childhood for her daughter, Ryan Reynolds' wife will likely be found at the craft table with the tot.
She says she enjoys creating useful items: "One of my latest projects was painting nature-inspired throw pillows."

As if Lively doesn't already sound like the perfect mom, consider that she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty either, and I don't mean in the kitchen. She confided that she enjoys to "work on a motorcycle, a skill my husband is teaching me."
So basically, Baby Reynolds—her name has still not been confirmed—is going to grow up in a magical household, crafting, cooking and restoring motorcycles. Sounds like a pretty cool childhood!
