Blockheads Rejoice! NKOTB Show Is a Reality

Short & Sweet

Fellow Blockheads (aka, New Kids on the Block fans), guess what? Did you know that NKOTB hosts a cruise for their most wild and devoted fans every year? No? Me neither, but don't get all worked up and pass out on your NKOTB bedding because a new reality show will log every detail and everyone will be there: Jordan, Jonathan, Danny, Donnie and Joey and 3,000 of their biggest fans!

The Lowdown

The show, "Rock This Boat: New Kids on the Block," spotlights New Kids on the Block's famous annual cruises, which are so popular that there are waitlists thousands deep. This year, the ship took Blockheads on a 5-day journey from New York City to Bermuda. Wait a minute, Jordan Knight in swim trunks? How have I never heard of this before?

The show will be a behind the scenes look at the cruise with NKOTB, 3,000 crazed fans and 20 cameras. Even if you're on the waitlist or just don't have a chance in the world of going because your kids need you to drive them to soccer practice and such, you can still see all the action beginning Jan. 14 at 8 p.m., when the show's one-hour premiere debuts on POP, currently TV Guide Network. If you can't wait until then, there's also a "Meet the Castaways" episode scheduled to air on Monday, Nov. 24 at 8 p.m., and in December, ET will be airing a special about the history of NKOTB, which rose to fame like so many awesome celebrities in the 1980s and '90s

The Upshot

What I want to know is how can a girl bypass the waitlist? Even if that's not an option, you better believe I'll be watching the show because NKOTB: "I'll be loving you forever, just as long as you want me to be." Call me!
