The Short of It
Ryan Reynolds opened up about being a hands-on dad to his new baby girl when he spoke with the media Saturday at the party for his new film, "Mississippi Grind," during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
Ryan Reynolds says he is more than willing to share baby duties with his wife, Blake Lively, to the point that he jokingly says that he even tried to help breastfeed his daughter.
"It's frustrating for the baby and frankly disturbing for me," he joked. Now, that's a 50/50 partner.
Reynolds says that since welcoming his daughter in December, life at home has been "great."
"It's amazing that you can be that exhausted and that happy at the same time," he told People magazine.
The truth of the matter is that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have learned what every parent that has come before them has figured out: babies change everything. I'm glad to hear Ms. Lively has a partner who will help her through the hills and valleys of parenthood.
