The Short of It
While composing a group text to announce the birth of his son, a new dad accidentally included a wrong number. Instead of ignoring the accidental message, the brothers who received it decided to congratulate the new parents and newborn in person!
While his wife Lindsey was in labor, Florida dad-to-be Mark Knox started group texting family and friends about the impending birth.
"We are at the hospital. Having a baby today!" he texted. "She has dilated to between 5-6."
In Mark's haste to send out the message, however, he accidentally included a wrong number, which happened to belong to Dennis Williams. Dennis shared the, ahem, detailed message with his brother Deorick, before he sent the response: "Congrats lol but I think someone got the wrong number."

Mark must have missed that message—he was helping his wife give birth, after all—so Dennis was also included in the next group text he sent out, which announced the baby's birth stats and included a photo of his newborn son, Cason.
That's when Dennis and Deorick decided that they were going to help the Knoxes celebrate the good news they were sharing.
"Well I don't know y'all but me and the boys will be thru to take picture with the baby," Dennis texted back.

Although the Knoxes then realized their mistake and sent their apologies, the Williams brothers were serious about visiting, so Mark gave them the hospital details. Dennis and Deorick soon arrived in their room with a gift for the baby and posed for photos with the new parents.
The Knoxes later wrote about the Williamses online: "What a blessing these two guys were to our family. They were so sweet and kind to do this! You 2 are great guys and thank you for giving to someone you didn't know! If we all only had this kind of a heart."

What a couple of cool dudes! It's nice to know there are kind and good-humored people in the world who are willing to have a little fun when the opportunity presents itself. Plus, what a great story for baby Cason to hear about his birth when he grows up.
