The Short of It
An adorable video showing the unique connection between moms and their children has been released just in time for Mother's Day.
Pandora jewelers is behind the filmed experiment that moms everywhere are loving and sharing. It's called "The Unique Connection," and the video shows kids identifying their mom among a group of women while they're blindfolded. The participating children were between the ages of 3 and 9. They only had their senses of smell and touch to figure out which mommy was theirs.
The video shows each child tentatively walk toward the line of six moms, then reach out and gently touch the women's faces and hair. They rub noses with the women. Soon, the child knows who his or her mom is, and they embrace happily. Clearly, the bond between a mom and her child is unbreakable.
Pandora said about the experiment, "All women are unique in shape, personality and heart, and so is the beautiful connection and precious love we saw this day."
The mothers are very emotional during the experiment. You can see that each mom hopes her child will know her. Amazingly, Pandora confirms all six kids were successful in identifying their mommies.
I was wondering if my own children would be able to pick me out of a crowd of moms. I asked my 4-year-old, and she said, "You'd be the one with the big boobs."
Well, there you go.
