The book is based on my two Golden Retrievers. They were bought together and are very loving towards people and to each other. It'...s sometimes difficult to tell them apart so children often think they are twins which they are slightly fascinated by. Children are also drawn to their colour which is a deep rusty bracken shade. The dogs are walked every day in the countryside and anyone with dogs will know what they get up to! Those who do not have dogs will soon find out. It's often a talking point between owners who also walk their dogs in fields. However the subject matter will appeal to young children as they find anything that is smelly or disgusting, very funny. This is a book that will make both the adult and the young child laugh and would make a great 'read together ' book. read more

The aim of The Toof Fairy books is to bring back the magic of losing a tooth as a child. When my own children were small I used to... write tiny notes from the tooth fairies, thanking my children for keeping their teeth clean and telling my kids what the fairies were going to make with their teeth. I kept the magic of childhood alive for as long as possible. My series of 6 Toof Fairy books brings the world of fairies, animals and insects together. There is a high moral code of caring and sharing which I hope the children will take forwards into adult life. read more
For this very special little girl Where do we go when we die? We go to heaven, to become an angel and live in God’s glorious garde...ns. It’s a magical spellbinding place, where all our loved ones have gone before us. In this story/activity book you can also place your loved ones in your chosen garden. I wrote this book as a treasured gift for my granddaughter, Scarlett Rose, after flying from the UK to Australia to help bring her into the world. The heartache I felt on fl ying back home inspired me to put pen to paper and my book began. But it hasn’t been easy. By choice, I had a poor education. At school I was always a huge personality in the playground, but a daydreamer in the classroom. Then it was university – haha! I went to the university of life, where my mother was my number one teacher. Since the beginning, my family has grown and so has my book. It’s been a pleasurable challenge to write. Some days I’ve cried with a great big belly laugh and others I’ve cried with the depth of emotional love I felt deeply from my soul for my family, friends and acquaintances who have inspired the characters in the book. I was soon to hit a huge obstacle with this book: learning to illustrate! But I got there. The most important lesson I have learnt is to believe in yourself, have faith, what’s meant for you in this life doesn’t pass you by. It’s a big world out there, full of wonderful opportunities that are all within reach. So if you’re missing a loved one like myself, don’t let your grievance grow, live your life and be happy with a positive thought: no one is promised a tomorrow, but they say God offers a promises to us all of eternal angelic life in heaven. Read on! Guardian angels In every adult there’s a child, In every child there’s imagination, In imagination there is love, positivity, In mine, I found a magical wonder world — real or nostalgic? For me, I believe it’s true. read more

Children get pleasure in picking and eating fruit and vegetables, especially when they grow their own. The first part of the book,... based on actual, events describes how plants grow, through words, sketches and photographs. Seeds germinate on an allotment garden. The pumpkin shoots and leaves race each across the earth in order to get the most light from the sun for food energy and growth. The winners will be the pumpkin plants with the most pumpkins growing on them and/or the largest ones. The book relates the true story about one pumpkin which was different looking from all the others. Jack o'lantern pumpkins were being grown for Halloween, but this one was a figure of eight shape instead. It was the biggest, but no one wanted it as it was the wrong shape and size for a lantern. It ended up being dumped into a compost bin full of horse poo and straw and plant bits and pieces that again no one wanted, but in the bin were creatures that did want a good meal and shelter provided by one big pumpkin. read more

The book is the first of a series, called the Pineapple series. It is about a toddler travelling to Poland to visit her relatives.... It is meant for the ages between 2 to 5. I have also done all the illustrations. There are illustrations that are meant to be photographs which are to be attached to the pages as if one is preparing to complete an album. The idea is both interesting and educational. Although the words are few, there are sufficient pictures with the book to encourage the reader to lengthen the story and to engage those to whom are being read, to express themselves and to ask questions. The answer s would be up to the imagination of the reader.. read more
