Cotton scarf, 'Tzutujil Valley' (Guatemala)

This scarf from Guatemala's Community Association of Tzutujil Women Artisans is a natural treasure to behold. It is woven on a traditional loom with cotton featuring an open weave. Colors are obtained from chilca and pepper, which the women prepare on their own. The scarf is woven in three colors including natural cotton, dark and light shades of green.
